Staff Sergeant Benjamin Howard Reason, US Army Retired, 76 of Williamston, NC passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 in Vidant Memorial Hospital in Greenville, NC.

Mr. Reason was born on July 9, 1940 in Martin County to Hazel Phelps and James Edward Reason. He served our country as a member of the United States Army for over 20 years. After retirement from the Army, he worked with White's Sheet Metal for many years.

Surviving include his wife Charlotte Pope Reason, his two daughters: Barbie Reason Hagen and her husband Craig of Bath, NC and Barbara Reason Price and her husband David of Northfield, MN; his brother Mack Reason of Williamston, NC, and eight grandchildren: Blake Hagen, Brody Hagen, Kyra Price, Brett Price, Lance Price, Rhys Price, Jayda Price, and Quinton Price.

Mr. Reason was preceded in death by his wife Yun Son Reason.

A Celebration of Mr. Reason's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 15, 2016 in Martin Memorial Gardens with the Minister Craig Hagen officiating.
